Back to the keyboard!

Hello Everyone!!!!
I am extremely sorry I haven't written my blog for ages - I have been very busy...........Many, many things have happened recently to do with the animals, three new chickens and some very sad deaths :( I stopped writing this blog when my two, gorgeous Buff Orpingtons died. They got killed by a fox when I forgot to shut the chickens in and were never to be seen again. To celebrate there lives I produced a little speech:

Henna and Lola
I had Henna and Lola scince I was about 9. They were sisters when we got them and very tiny and scrawny. They loved pecking our toes and sitting on us. I could always tell them apart - Lola was the looney one and was completely mad (!) and Henna was the bustling chicken who would have made an incredible mother. Both laid beautiful eggs and were very friendly and loving, they were like no others. I will miss you strong personalities and the happiness you gave me. RIP I will miss and remember you Forever xxx

Mum agreed that as my chickens who I loved dearly had gone, she would buy me some guinea pigs :) They are adorable! One has spikey hair and is called Woodstock ( after the comic snoopy ) and one has black and brown smooth, sleek hair and he is called Neal ( My sister named him!!!) They are both beautiful boys and I love them very much!

Well I have decided I will keep on posting, so please leave comments and follow!!!!!

about Charlie and the chickens.

hello everybody!!!! Well i am going to start with Charlie. Anyway Charlie has just done a post and it says about him playing football with me well his version of playing football is i kick the ball he leaps up and catches it and then he will never give the ball back and he just holds on to it trying to rip it apart and that's what he calls football! One of the funnest games to play is piggy in the middle with Charlie and Charlie is the piggy and me and dad throw it to each other while he leaps up to get it - he is really quite good at it!! All the chickens are good and we are now into the mating season....... we have two broody hens ( broody means they start to lay on eggs for 21 days hoping they will hatch ) but the unfortunate thing is we think George ( one of our cockerels ) is unfertile. But we will find out if that is true when the hens have layed on the eggs for 21 days. Are chickens are all really stupid because we have to take them off their eggs because otherwise they dont get off their eggs and therefor will starve to death!!!! You would think they would realise when they got hungry they had to quickly come off there eggs and get a bite to eat! Broody hens are allowed off their eggs for up to 20 minutes so its not like they have no time!! This is a bit off the subject but my friend has just started a blog called www.petsatmaltings.blogspot.com and its all about the pets she has got and the pets she would like - its a lovely blog and it would be really nice if you could check it out and maybe leave a comment about one of her posts. Well i have to go now but i will post soon!! Bye!!!!

the latest doggy update

woof woof, Hello how are you all?? i am REALLY good thanks! i have been playing outside in the garden with my owner and we have been playing some football..... i think i could personally be in the England team!! My best friend Luigi has now got a companion dog called Nero you will have to check out his blog - www.my-humans.blogspot.com
i think he is quite nice but he does spend his whole time licking humans! Luigi really isn't that keen on him - but i suppose he would be quite annoying to live with but he is a puppy you must be patient with him!!! I had this amazing walk the other day with my family and at the end my owner accidentally dropped some of her ice - cream - yummy yum yum!!!!! My favourite thing to eat is still Cheese though. I have also taken to ham but i only get ham as a treat!! this is a picture of my new friend Nero and a very irritated Luigi!!! that's all for now doggy friends but i will speak to you soon, woof woof!!!!!!!! I went on this amazing walk and i saw hares and rabbits and deers and all sorts. Yesterday i had a special treat - cheese - i absolutely love cheese it is by a long way the best food ever! Anyway it was put in my dinner mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm yum! Anyway my owners calling got to go, by for now!

Ben

Hello - its Ben's owner. There is some very very sad news Ben died very sadly of old age yesterday. He was the best Guinea- pig in the whole wide world and i will miss him very much. I was playing on the trampoline and i saw charlie with ben inbertween his two front paws and i just thought hmm ben wouldnt normally let Charlie do that and when i went over to look Charlie was sniffing Ben and that was when i realised Ben had died. I am really sad but he had a very good life and i loved him very much and i also think charlie and the other animals did too. Thank - you Ben for being such an amazing guinea- pig and making me a very happy girl.

gorgeous George

Hello again, i am first going to talk about one of my chickens, Gorgeous George. As you have seen in the picture of him, he's... well to be honest pretty full of himself! He always acts as if he's perfectly in control and he knows what he's doing, even when Mini is having hysterics! He just s..l..o..w..l..y wonders over acting as if nothings going badly when actually Mini's making a racket in the hen house!! I have a funny feeling that he thinks i am a chicken, because when i open the door of there hen house he
thinks i have just come out of the hen house and gets behind me and hurries me along! George also likes a lot of hens and he has been mating with: both jubilee's all of his girls and Henna & Lola! Wow thats a lot of hens, he's one
busy chicken. But hopefully we may get some chicks in the summer so fingers crossed!!
